DALHOUSIE, N.B. -- A New Brunswick school is reporting a case of COVID-19, making it the third case reported at a school in the province in the last four days.In a Facebook post, the L.E. Reinsborough School says a case has been confirmed at the elementary school in Dalhousie, N.B.

The post says the school is working with public health officials to identify students, teachers or staff who may have been exposed to the virus.

The school is in the Campbellton region, where seven new cases were announced on Saturday.

A confirmed case at Academie Notre-Dame, also in Dalhousie, was also announced Saturday, following Thursday's announcement of a confirmed case at Sugarloaf High School in Campbellton. As of Saturday, there were 57 active cases in the province, most connected to outbreaks in the Campbellton region and at Moncton's Notre-Dame Manor special-care home.

A spokesman for the province said there were no plans for a news conference on Sunday, but an update was expected later in the day.
