A 48-year-old driver is recovering in hospital after a three-vehicle collision on Nova Scotia’s Highway 101.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Friday between Exit 7 and Exit 8 near Falmouth.
The RCMP say a car traveling westbound crossed the centre line and crashed into a lobster truck, causing another collision with a third car.
The truck then left the road and careened into some trees.
The male driver of the westbound car was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the drivers of the lobster truck and third car were not injured in the crash.
A section of Highway 101 was shut down in both directions for several hours Friday morning as investigators examined the scene.
It has since re-opened to traffic.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
