An elderly woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Wallace, N.S.
RCMP responded to Highway 6 shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
They say a car carrying four people had crashed and a 76-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
One passenger was airlifted to a Halifax hospital while a second was taken to Halifax by ambulance.
The fourth passenger was treated at the scene.
RCMP traffic analysts are investigating to determine what caused the accident.
The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of her family.
