BARRINGTON PASSAGE, N.S. -- A fire has forced a family of three to leave their home near Barrington Passage, N.S.
The Canadian Red Cross says the fire Thursday damaged one unit inside a home that has two apartments.
Disaster volunteers have provided the family with emergency food and lodging.
The family includes a man, woman and their four-year-old son.
The tenants in the other apartment were not affected and no injuries were reported.
