RCMP in New Brunswick say foul play is not suspected in the death of a Saint John man whose body was found Monday in Kingston.

Police say preliminary autopsy results indicate there is nothing suspicious about the cause of death of 56-year-old Joseph Rhéal Doucet.

Officers were called to a remote area of Kingston around 2 p.m. Monday. They discovered Doucet's body in a wooded area on the Backland Road.

Investigators and police dogs remained on the scene until late into the evening.

Few details have been released about the death.
