The first funeral was held Wednesday for one of the four young people killed in a devastating crash last weekend in northeastern New Brunswick.

Twenty-year-old Alexandre McGraw was laid to rest at a packed ceremony in Pont Landry, N.B.

He and three others died after the car they were in rolled down a hill and into the Tracadie River on the morning of Saturday, December 22.

Funerals for Marie-Helene Gauvin, Tommy Losier and Brian Basque will be held over the next few days.
