Hafsa Arif
Hafsa Arif is a video journalist for CTV Atlantic based out of Halifax.
Growing up in Toronto, Hafsa always wanted to be a news reporter.
In pursuit of her passion, Hafsa earned a degree in Political Science and Communications and Media Studies from Carleton University. She also has a diploma in Journalism from Seneca College.
After interning for Global News as a student, Hafsa started her career with CTV News Yorkton, before returning home to Toronto to briefly work in communications.
In 2022, Hafsa returned to her journalism roots when she joined the CTV Atlantic team.
When not reporting, spends her time exploring Nova Scotia and its culinary creations, with Halifax’s famous donair topping her list of favourites. She also has a passion for travelling and hiking.
Hafsa speaks English.
