HALIFAX -- A 51-year-old Halifax man is facing drug charges after police searched a residence in the Spryfield neighbourhood on Wednesday.

Halifax Regional Police say at 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 18, officers conducted a search warrant at a residence on Autumn Dr.

Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, cash and a ballistic vest.

A 51-year-old man was arrested inside the residence without incident.

He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face one count each of possessing, producing and trafficking a controlled substance.
