Halifax police are investigating a report of a man walking around Dartmouth with his genitals exposed.

Police responded to the complaint shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday in the area of St. Peter’s Cemetery at the Dartmouth Commons.

A witness told police they had spotted a man walking in the area with his genitals exposed.

The area is in close vicinity to the Bicentennial School.

Police say the man did not approach or speak to anyone.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

He is described as a white man in his mid-40s. He is five-foot-nine with a medium build, a round face, and blonde hair slicked back.

Police say he wore a black jacket, grey hooded sweater, and brown cargo pants at the time of the incident.
