An arrest warrant has been issued for a Halifax man wanted in connection to a robbery in Upper Sackville, N.S.

Police say two armed men entered a home on Colgrove Avenue around 5:15 a.m. on June 8.

Investigators say the suspects tied up the residents before stealing some items from the home.

A short time later, officers pulled over the suspects' vehicle and arrested a 34-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.

The vehicle was towed to a police compound.

An investigation has revealed two men were hiding in the vehicle’s trunk during the incident and later escaped from the compound undetected.

One of the suspects has been arrested.

Police have issued a search warrant for the second suspect, Clinton James Christie, 33, of Halifax.

Christie is described as being six feet tall, weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say he may be in possession of a weapon and are asking the public not to approach him.

Meanwhile, Derek Thomas MacPhee and Erin Dawn Harlow, both of Halifax, and Jason Halsey, 29, of Dartmouth are facing a number of charges.

The charges include break and enter, robbery, assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement and uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
