Halifax Regional Police are investigating an indecent act that took place in the south end of Halifax early Thursday morning.
Police say they received a complaint that a man was looking into a window and masturbating at a residence in the 1100 block of South Park Street. Officers responded to the call shortly after 3 a.m.
Police say the man ran off when he realized he had been noticed. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the man.
He is described as a white male, aged 20 to 30. He is roughly five-feet-eight with a medium build and has coarse, wavy, dark brown hair with side burns.
He was wearing a red, plaid button-up shirt and dark blue jeans at the time of the incident.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
