Police in Halifax are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of a vehicle seen at the time of a single-vehicle collision on Sunday.

Officers responded to the crash on Highway 102, near the Larry Uteck Boulevard exit, before 5 p.m.

Police say the driver lost control of his red Ford Explorer, causing the vehicle to flip several times.

The 30-year-old man was ejected from the vehicle and remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Police are still trying to determine what caused the crash. They are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash.

They are especially interested in speaking with the driver of a burgundy Toyota Yaris that was seen driving in front of the vehicle before it crashed, and left the area on Larry Uteck Boulevard.
