HALIFAX -- A woman from Nova Scotia's Hants County is the latest person to face charges arising from an incident at a fish plant in New Edinburgh, N.S., last month.
Nova Scotia RCMP say they have charged 22-year-old Kristen Sack wth assault. She's due in Digby Provincial court in February.
Last month, tensions escalated between commercial and Indigenous fishers over the right to fish for a moderate livelihood -- resulting in a number of violent encounters.
