Heavy rain is believed to have contributed to traffic chaos during the Tuesday morning commute in Saint John, N.B.

A transport truck jack-knifed and hit a median on the Saint John Harbour Bridge.

The accident caused delays in both directions and traffic was lined up for several kilomtres while police tried to clear the scene.

The crash happened as the city was hit with a downpour. Police believe weather was a factor in the driver losing control.

No one was hurt and the truck’s fuel will be unloaded before it is moved.
