HALIFAX -- A Hampton, New Brunswick home was destroyed in a Thursday night fire.

According to Hampton Fire Deputy Chief Mike Raeburn, crews were called to a house fire on Dann Drive around 9 p.m. on Feb. 18.

Raeburn says the home was fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene, with flames shooting through the roof.

Two women, a mother and her adult daughter escaped without injuries, and are now staying with family.

The home has been destroyed.

Raeburn says 22 members responded from Hampton Fire, with mutual aid provided from Kennebecasis, Nauwigewauk, Norton and Belleisle. Crews remained on scene until 4 a.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Raeburn says it is not considered suspicious at this time.
