In 2014, Kate began her career in journalism as an autocue operator at CTV Atlantic in Halifax. She quickly took on other roles in the newsroom, including production assistant and digital content editor.

Kate then headed to Toronto, where she worked as a news chase producer and writer for CTV News Channel, as well as a writer for CP24 Toronto’s Breaking News, and as a news anchor for 680 News Radio.

In July 2018, Kate returned home to the Maritimes and CTV Atlantic to begin a career as a videographer in Moncton.
