CTV Atlantic: Man charged in Sydney stabbing Cody Alexander Russell, 21, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Sydney man.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a deadly knife fight in North Sydney, N.S., earlier this week.

Cody Alexander Russell is accused of stabbing 25-year-old Stephen Tyler Chisholm late Tuesday night.

Police say Chisholm was found on Clifford Street, suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. He later died in hospital.

Shortly after, police were called to a residence on King Street where they found Russell, who had also been stabbed. His injuries were not considered life-threatening. Police say the two men knew one another.

Russell is in police custody and will appear in Sydney Provincial Court Friday morning.
