HALIFAX -- A 50-year-old man and 28-year-old woman are facing charges after a Dartmouth, N.S., clothing store was broken into Wednesday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 25, officers responded to a break and enter at Take it Outside located at 961 Hector Gate in Dartmouth Crossing.

Police say suspects took a large amount of clothing and fled the area in a vehicle.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., officers arrested a man and a woman at a residence on Albro Lake Rd. in Dartmouth, and recovered most of the stolen property.

A 50-year-old man and 28-year-old woman, both from Dartmouth, will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court to face charges of break and enter and possession of stolen property over $5,000.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information or video from the area to call Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
