Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a driver involved in a hit-and-run in the city Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a collision between a car and a pedestrian at the intersection of North Park and Cogswell streets around 11:25 a.m.

Police say a 22-year-old woman was crossing North Park Street in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a car turning left from Cogswell onto North Park.

She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

The car is described as a silver Toyota Yaris driven by a white man in his twenties.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
