A man has died after he was electrocuted while working on a building in the Bayers Lake area.
Halifax Regional Police and other emergency crews were called to the building at 201 Chain Lake Drive around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old Williamswood man was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
Police and investigators from the Department of Labour are on the scene.
Power to the building will remain off during the investigation. At this point, there is no estimated time for power to be restored.
