A New Brunswick man has been hospitalized with serious injuries following a single-vehicle collision on Route 106.

RCMP responded to the crash in Allison at approximately 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.

They say it appears the man failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centre line and hit a utility pole.

The victim, a 27-year-old man from Steeves Mountain, was taken to the Moncton Hospital with serious injuries.

No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Police don’t believe the man was wearing a seatbelt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
