SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- A body has been pulled from the harbour in Saint John, N.B., after people on a fishing boat reported seeing it floating on the water.

Sgt. Lori Magee of the Saint John police says they received a call around 10:30 a.m. today about the discovery.

Magee says police don't know how long the body was in the water, the gender is not known and it could be a while before the person's identity is confirmed.
