A New Brunswick woman charged with concealing the body of a newborn baby has been granted bail.

Christine Margaret Wood of Riverview remained silent during a brief appearance in Moncton provincial court on Tuesday.

Wood, 30, was charged in connection with the 'Baby Taylor' case on the weekend.

The body of a baby boy was found by a group of all-terrain vehicle riders on the side of Taylor Road near Monteagle in April 2009.

The newborn was found in a snow bank and police believe it had been left there up to five months before being discovered.

Wood’s lawyer and the prosecution agreed to her release under several conditions, which include that she report to authorities if she becomes pregnant while out on bail.

Wood is due back in court to enter a plea on July 3.
