HALIFAX -- Halifax police say a woman who was hit by a pickup truck while driving a motorized scooter in a crosswalk has died.
Police say the 57-year-old woman was riding the scooter in Dartmouth around 11 a.m. Saturday when she was hit by a truck driven by a 50-year-old man.
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died hours later around 5:30 p.m.
Police say no charges have been laid.
