SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- Police say the deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a home in Saint John, N.B., were the result of a murder-suicide.
The Saint John Police Force says it is waiting for final post-mortem results to conclude its investigation and won't make any further comment.
Officers were called to a home on Red Head Road around 4 p.m. Monday for a well-being check.
Police said when they entered the home, they heard an apparent gunshot.
The scene was contained and a tactical police unit entered the home, where a 51-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were found dead.
