New Brunswick RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with a stabbing incident in Juniper, N.B. last month.

On the morning of March 20, Woodstock RCMP responded to an incident at a pub in Juniper, where a man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

On March 23, 21-year-old Christopher Mark Hamilton of Bath N.B. was charged with committing an assault with a weapon. An arrest warrant was issued at that time, but police have been unable to locate him.

“We believe there are people in the community who know the whereabouts of Christopher Hamilton,” says Cst. Emily Rafuse of the Woodstock RCMP. “Anyone believed to be helping someone charged with a crime can themselves face charges of being an accessory after the fact for the same crime.”

Police describe Christopher Hamilton as a Caucasian man, measuring approximately five-foot-seven inches tall and weighing approximately 150 lbs. He is of medium build, and has brown hair and green eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Christopher Hamilton to contact Woodstock RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
