RCMP in New Brunswick are asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly man reported missing from Blissfield.

William Gaston, 83, was last seen driving his truck along Route 8 near the Green Bye Road in the Blissfield area around 3 p.m. Thursday.

Gaston hasn’t been seen nor heard from since then.

Police say he is in relatively good shape but does require medication for some health conditions. They say he enjoys the outdoors and being out in the woods.

Gaston is described as a heavy set white man with grey hair and glasses. He is roughly five-feet-eight inches tall and walks with a cane.

He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a long-sleeve shirt, and a baseball cap with an Air Force logo on the front.

Police say he drives a dark blue 2000 GMC Sierra with New Brunswick veteran’s licence plate WP 498.
