The RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man following a house fire in Tilley, N.B.

Police say 59-year-old Wayne Rattray was last seen early Wednesday morning at his Walker Road home. A short time later, police and fire crews responded to a fire at his home.

The house was destroyed in the blaze, which remains under investigation.

Police haven’t been able to locate Rattray since the fire and they want to confirm that he is OK.

Rattray is described as a Caucasian man with mostly grey hair and blue eyes. He is roughly five-foot-eight inches and weighs about 160 pounds.

His vehicle, which is also missing, is a grey 2000 GMC Sierra pickup truck with New Brunswick licence plate CJI 264.
