Police are looking for two people who attacked a man in Moncton, N.B., last month.

Codiac Regional RCMP says the assault happened in front of a business at the intersection of Main Street and Robinson Court around 3 a.m. on Nov. 30. However, they didn’t learn about the assault until 3 p.m. that day.

The 50-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released from hospital.

Police are investigating the incident as an aggravated assault and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two people responsible. However, they say a description of the suspects is not available at this time.

Anyone who happened to be in the area at the time of the assault, or who may have video footage, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
