A young New Brunswick woman has died following a head-on collision on Highway 11, north of Bouctouche.
RCMP responded to the two-vehicle collision near Exit 32 before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a 21-year-old Richibucto woman passed away at the scene. Her name is not being released at this time.
The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle – a 54-year-old man from Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec - was not seriously injured in the crash.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
