HALIFAX - The Canadian Red Cross has provided emergency provisions to the victims of three house fires in Nova Scotia.

No injuries were reported, but 20 people were forced from their homes on the weekend in three separate communities.

The fires affected nine people in Stewiacke, seven in Kentville and four in Bridgewater.

The fire in Stewiacke happened Saturday at 84 Main Street in an apartment building.

In Kentville, another fire Saturday caused major damage on the main floor of a two-storey house on McKittrick Road.

On Sunday, a house on LeHave Street in Bridgewater caught fire when it was unoccupied.
