N.S. RCMP investigating Prospect Bay restaurant fire as arson

Nova Scotia RCMP are asking the public for information surrounding an Oct. 19 restaurant fire they are investigating as arson.

HALIFAX -- Nova Scotia RCMP are asking the public for information surrounding an Oct. 19 restaurant fire they are investigating as arson.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Oct. 19, RCMP and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to a call about a fire at Bay Landing Restaurant Lounge & Marina in Prospect Bay, N.S.

Upon arrival, officers noticed a fire in the business and were able to extinguish the fire. The business was damaged extensively and no one was inside at the time of the fire.

Police are investigating the fire as an arson, and ask anyone with information to contact Halifax District RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
