Occupy Fredericton protestors have been getting some help from dismantled Occupy movements in the wake of their own demise.

Some demonstrators from Halifax say they've been "standing in solidarity with other activist groups."

The Fredericton movement has been camping in front of City Hall since mid-October.

Organizer Julian Renaud, says "it's very heartening to see that show of support and solidarity from other movements."

Fredericton Mayor Brad Woodside has given the occupiers a deadline to dismantle their camp by New Year's Day. If not, Woodside says city crews will do it themselves.

The Halifax movement was removed from Victoria Park on Remembrance Day by order from city council.
