Halifax police are looking for two suspects after an early morning robbery in the city.
Police say a man and woman in their early 20s were assaulted and robbed while walking on Herring Cove Road around 1 a.m. on Friday.
The pair told police two male teens approached them from behind, struck the man in the back and punched the woman in the face.
The suspects then took one of the victim’s cell phones.
Both victims were taken to hospital.
The suspects are described as black males between 15 and 20 years old, who were wearing black clothing at the time.
Anyone with information on the incident are asked to contact Halifax police or Crime Stoppers.
