Halifax Regional Police is once again urging motorists to slow down and pedestrians to pay extra attention to their surroundings following another car-pedestrian collision Friday morning.

Police say a 23-year-old female pedestrian was crossing the street in Dartmouth when she was hit in a marked crosswalk by a vehicle turning from Caledonia Road onto Main Street.

She suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital.

A 76-year-old female driver was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

A 50-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a broken leg Thursday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle on a sidewalk in Halifax.
