Cape Breton Regional Police are renewing calls for clues in the death of a Dominion, N.S. man killed nine years ago.

Harold ‘Buster’ Slaunwhite was found murdered inside his Brook Street home on Sept. 10, 2006.

Police say a joint team of investigators from the Cape Breton Regional Police and Nova Scotia RCMP continue to make progress on the case, thanks in part due to tips from the public.

However, no one has been charged in Slaunwhite’s death, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Police say there is a phone line dedicated to the investigation where people can speak directly to the investigators involved in the case.

Slaunwhite’s death is also a part of the province’s Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes program, which offers a cash reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.

Anyone with information is asked to call 902-563-5574 or 1-888-710-9090.
