RCMP are searching for a man who allegedly robbed the Credit Union bank in Fall River, N.S. Friday night.
Police say they responded to a call around 5:50 p.m. of an armed robbery at the bank located on Highway 2.
When officers arrived, the suspect fled the scene on foot into the woods behind the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
Halifax police, RCMP and a K9 unit combed the area, but were unable to find the man.
None of the employees were injured and there were no customers inside the bank at the time of the incident.
The suspect is described as five-foot-ten with an athletic build. He was wearing a black mask, sunglasses and a black and white jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt at the time of the alleged robbery. He was also wearing gloves, blue jeans and running shoes.
