Police in Moncton are turning to the public to help find the man who robbed an area hotel Monday night.

Police say the robbery happened around 10:45 p.m. at the Comfort Inn on Maplewood Drive.

Witnesses say a man wearing a black bandana entered the lobby with a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a five-foot-seven white man with a thin build. He was wearing a black and grey hoodie, white T-shirt, dark jeans, and dark shoes at the time.
