RCMP in New Brunswick have released a video of a missing 44-year-old Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska man in the hopes it will generate new information about his disappearance.
Police say they are still looking for clues in the suspicious disappearance of Fred Byram, who was last seen on October 8, 2010.
Byram has not been in contact with any of his family and friends since he was seen getting into a taxi outside the Rocking Rodeo on Elmwood Drive in Moncton last fall.
Surveillance video from the bar shows him leaving the establishment alone just after 12:30 a.m.
"It's now been a year since Fred Byram disappeared and we're hoping that getting this video out to the public may help someone to recall information they have about his disappearance or what may have happened that night," says Const. Damien Thériault, of the Codiac Regional RCMP.
"Even what might seem like insignificant information could help police advance this investigation."
Byram is five-feet-ten inches tall and weighs roughly 170 pounds. He has brown eyes, tattoos on his arms and a gap between his upper front teeth.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on Byram's whereabouts is being asked to call Codiac Regional RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
