The Nova Scotia RCMP believe a man wanted in connection with a violent robbery in Upper Sackville, N.S. may be in New Brunswick.

Halifax District RCMP spokesman Cpl. Greg Church says a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of 33-year-old Clinton James Christie.

Church says Christie may be in possession of a weapon and should not be approached if spotted. He says police have reason to believe Christie may be travelling in New Brunswick and the New Brunswick RCMP have been notified.

Police are asking residents across the province to keep an eye out.

Christie is suspected of being involved in a robbery at a home on Colgrove Avenue early in the morning of June 8.

Police say two armed men entered the home and tied up the residents before stealing some items from the home.

A short time later, officers pulled over the suspects' vehicle and arrested a 34-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.

The vehicle was then towed to a police compound.

Police later determined two men were hiding in the vehicle’s trunk during the incident and later escaped from the compound undetected.

One of the suspects has been arrested but Christie remains on the run.

He is described as being six feet tall, weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Meanwhile, Derek Thomas MacPhee and Erin Dawn Harlow, both of Halifax, and Jason Halsey, 29, of Dartmouth are facing a number of charges.

The charges include break and enter, robbery, assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement and uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
