HALIFAX -- New Brunswick RCMP is asking the public for help in identifying a man suspected in an armed robbery of a Moncton convenience store last month.

Codiac Regional RCMP say shortly after 7:30 a.m. on August 19, they responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the Cedar's Convenience store on Cedar Street.

Police say the male suspect entered the store with a firearm and demanded cash from an employee. He left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as being between five feet seven inches (170 centimetres) and five feet nine inches (175 centimetres) tall, with a skinny build. He was wearing a red Mickey Mouse hooded sweater, grey jogging pants, black and white sneakers and black gloves with a white logo on them.
