RCMP treating deaths of two NS women as double homicide

BIBLE HILL, N.S. -- RCMP say they're investigating the deaths of two women at a home in Bible Hill, N.S., as a double homicide.

Officers responded to the home around 3 p.m. Friday after receiving a 911 call.

The Mounties say the women died in a violent incident, but police would not elaborate on the cause of death.

They say a man who was also at the home and was seriously injured when officers arrived was arrested Friday.

He remains in hospital under police supervision.

Police say a forensic identification unit is investigating and autopsies will be conducted on Sunday.
