Our region is well known for its sailing vessels, but there’s one that docked in Halifax on Wednesday night that guaranteed to turn some heads.
The “Majestic” is a 61 meter super yacht that was built in 2007, and can very comfortably accommodate 12 guests.
Amenities inside this sailing vacation include a gym, an on deck Jacuzzi, movie theatre, swimming pool, and even an elevator.
The vessel travels at an average speed of 12 knots, and has been all over the world, equipped with top notch, quality furnishings.
CTV News was unable to determine exactly who brought the vessel to Halifax and how long it will be staying, but it is for hire.
According to a specialty website, rates for renting the Majestic are listed at $508 thousand for one week in the summer, and $455 thousand dollars for one week in the winter.
