A 17-year-old boy has been charged after he allegedly attacked another teen at a Saint John high school.
Police responded to an assault call at Harbourview High School on Douglas Avenue around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say the suspect struck a 17-year-old boy in the head with a weapon.
The victim was taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.
The suspect was arrested a short time later.
Police say he is due to appear in youth court at a later date to face a charge of assault with a weapon.
