One teen has died and another is badly injured following a single-vehicle collision outside Halifax early Sunday.
Police responded to the crash on Highway 2 in Fall River, between Fletchers Drive and Coach Road, around 6 a.m.
They say two teens were inside the car when it left the road and crashed into a tree.
“The driver was an 18-year-old from Fall River, who was deceased at the scene, and there was a 17-year-old male passenger who was transported to hospital in serious condition,” says Halifax RCMP Const. Tammy Lobb.
The survivor is from nearby Oakfield.
Police say they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
