A pair of teens from Halifax are facing charges after allegedly trying to steal a motor vehicle.

Halifax Regional Police say they responded to a call early Thursday morning from Baker Drive in Dartmouth where two people were trying to break into a motor home.

An abandoned stolen car was found in the parking lot of the Petro Canada gas station on Portland street.

A 17-year-old faces charges including break and enter, theft and possession of a stolen motor vehicle under $5,000 and attempted theft of a motor vehicle under $5,000.

The other suspect, an 18-year-old boy, faces the same charges plus the additional charges of possession of break and enter tools and eight counts of breaching probabtion.
