RCMP in New Brunswick say they are investigating multiple thefts of undergarments and sex toys in the Saint-Paul and Sainte-Marie areas of Kent County.

Police say a total of seven incidents were reported to police between the end of July and the beginning of November.

Police say there were complaints that someone was breaking into residences when no one was home, and stealing women's undergarments and sex toys. There was also a report of undergarments being stolen from a clothesline.

Investigators say a similar break and enter was reported in the area in July 2010, and that police have been speaking with residents in the two communities about the incidents.

The RCMP are encouraging people in the area to ensure their doors and windows are secured and to report any suspicious activity.
