Halifax police are looking for three suspects after a man and a woman were tied up and robbed at a Dartmouth home on the weekend.

Police say two men – one wearing a mask and carrying a firearm - were spotted outside a home on Glen Manor Drive around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

While police responded to the complaint, a second call came in from another home on Glen Manor Drive, saying a robbery had taken place.

Police say a male resident answered a knock at the door and three masked men forced their way into the home.

They say one of the suspects was armed with a gun.

According to police, the intruders tied up the man and a female resident and stole several items from the home before fleeing the area on foot.

Police say the male victim received minor injuries from being struck in the head and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

No arrests have been made.
