Three people are due in court after a man was allegedly stabbed at a house party in Moncton on Monday.

Police responded to the home on Robinson Street around 10:30 p.m.

A 43-year-old Moncton man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has since been released.

Officers seized a firearm and two vehicles from the home and arrested six people – five men and one woman – in connection with the incident on Tuesday.

Police say two men and the woman were later released.

Three men, aged 25, 31 and 53, were held in custody. They are scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they are still investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
