Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Nova Scotia’s Highway 104 yesterday.
RCMP say a white Chevrolet van that was travelling westbound lost control and flipped into a ditch near Great Village around 12:30 p.m. Monday.
The three occupants of the van – one male and two females, aged 26 – were taken to Colchester Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
Police say there was a second accident just moments later in the eastbound lane of Highway 104 when a rear-end collision occurred between a Ford Escape and a Ford Ranger.
No injuries were reported.
Traffic was re-routed for several hours at Debert, causing a backlog of vehicles. The highway has since re-opened.
